Terms and Conditions
Bolgheri Locals
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in experiences organized by Bolgheri Locals (hereafter referred to as “the Organizer”).
All activities are regulated under Italian law.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
1. Participation Requirements
Participation in the experiences requires an adequate physical and mental condition suitable for cycling activities.
By booking, participants declare that they:
•are physically able to take part
•know how to ride a bicycle
•do not have medical conditions incompatible with the activity
Participants with health concerns are advised to consult a physician before attending.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone considered unfit or posing a risk to themselves or others.
2. Pricing
Experience prices are published on:
www.bolgherilocals.com
Prices include only the services specified in each experience description. Optional services or upgrades are indicated separately.
The Organizer reserves the right to adjust prices due to:
•tax changes
•clerical errors
•unforeseen circumstances or force majeure
Any significant increase will be communicated prior to the experience date.
3. Scope of Booking Agreement
The booking agreement covers the services agreed between the customer and the Organizer and includes:
•the experience description published on the website
•booking confirmation
•operational communications sent to participants
A booking becomes binding upon confirmation.
By completing the booking, the customer confirms having read and accepted these Terms.
4. Payment
Payments may be made via:
•credit card
•PayPal
•payment link
•bank transfer
An official invoice or receipt is issued.
Customers are responsible for sending the correct amount and referencing the booking.
5. Liability and Insurance
Participation in experiences is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
The Organizer is not responsible for:
•accidents
•injuries
•related financial consequences
Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal travel and accident insurance.
6. Booking Changes
Changes requested more than 10 days prior to the experience may incur an administrative fee.
Changes requested later may be treated as cancellation and rebooking.
Bookings may be transferred to another eligible participant upon agreement with the Organizer.
7. Cancellation by Participant
•More than 10 days before
refund minus administrative costs
•10–4 days before
50% charge of experience price
•3–0 days / no-show
no refund
Participants must notify cancellations as early as possible.
8. Withdrawal During the Experience
If a participant voluntarily leaves the experience:
•no refund will be provided
•additional costs remain the participant’s responsibility
9. Cancellation by Organizer
The Organizer may cancel experiences due to:
•adverse weather
•safety concerns
•force majeure
•operational issues
•insufficient participants
In such cases, payments will be refunded.
The Organizer is not responsible for indirect costs incurred by participants.
10. Changes to Itinerary
The Organizer will make every effort to follow the planned itinerary.
However, changes may occur due to operational or safety reasons.
If changes occur prior to the experience and are not accepted, a refund will be issued.
If changes occur during the activity, participants will be informed promptly.
11. Participant Responsibility
Participants must:
•read the experience description carefully
•follow guide instructions
•use equipment properly
•behave responsibly
The guide may exclude participants who:
•disregard instructions
•create unsafe conditions
•are explained as unprepared
Any resulting costs remain the participant’s responsibility.
12. Complaints
Issues should be reported immediately to the guide during the experience.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 4 weeks after completion.
13. Miscellaneous
The Organizer may correct or modify published information due to:
•printing errors
•operational updates
•availability changes
14. Photography
Participants may be photographed during experiences for promotional use.
Anyone wishing not to appear must inform the guide in advance.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data provided during booking or participation are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations.
Data are used solely for:
•booking management
•operational communication
•administrative and legal obligations
Data may be shared with partners only when necessary for service delivery or compliance.
Participants may request:
•access
•correction
•deletion of their data
by contacting the official email address.
16. Equipment Responsibility and Damages
Experiences may include the provision of:
•e-bikes
•helmets
•accessories
•other equipment provided by Bolgheri Locals
Participants are responsible for proper use of assigned equipment.
Damage caused by:
•misuse
•negligence
•failure to follow instructions
may be charged to the participant.
Participants are also responsible for damages caused to third parties or property.
The Organizer reserves the right to request reimbursement for repair or replacement costs.
